“BAD” by Alexx Mack

Alexx5015-0After a year of silence, the Hollywood-based popster known as Alexx Mack returns with the single “BAD.” The track leads with a throwback vibe by appropriating digi-beats and synthwave elements before soaring into glossy blasts of power pop on par with Miss Katy Perry herself (yes, it’s that good) and later a few sing-talk lines à la Uffie.

“Why’s it feel so good to be bad?”

“ocean” by flor

IMG_0353flor is an indie rock act with pop sensibilities who recently relocated from Oregon to Pasadena. Their latest leaked single, “ocean” (off their forthcoming debut EP), explores a new direction by lacing superlite trip-pop elements underneath what dares to be a smooth neo-soul track. This band’s potential is intimidating.
