“Where I’ve Headed All Along” by The New Regime

Ilan Rubin_The New Regime_credit Tamar Levine shotBonita denizen Ilan Rubin has worked with a few high caliber acts (Nine Inch Nails, Angels & Airwaves, Paramore) as a recording/performing multi-instrumentalist, but his true creative outlet is The New Regime. Under this moniker he will drop on March 31st his fourth release and second EP, Exhibit B, as a themed follow-up to 2013’s Exhibit A EP. The solo project continues his tradition of playing every instrument and singing all vocals while subliminally conjuring the epic digi-rock power of his oft-collaborator Trent Reznor (but way happier). Just listen to the haunting pop build-up of “Where I’ve Headed All Along”:

“Don’t look at me with a troubled face.”
